Catalyst Safety Group is proudly family-owned and operated, led by a career firefighter, EMT, and certified safety instructor with years of real-world emergency response experience. Our instruction is grounded in what actually happens—not just textbook scenarios.

We bring professional-level training into a format that families, youth groups, churches, schools, and teams can trust and understand. Every class is designed to be engaging, hands-on, and confidence-building, whether it’s CPR/AED, First Aid, Child & Babysitter Safety (CABS), or outdoor and wilderness-focused training. Our HSI Certified Courses

Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)

Designed for tweens and teens, this course prepares young caregivers to safely supervise children and respond appropriately to common emergencies. Emphasis is placed on prevention, responsibility, and confident decision-making.

Includes:

Safe child supervision

Injury prevention & home safety

Basic first aid and bleeding control

Emergency recognition and response

HSI CABS course completion card

CPR certification not included; available separately.

This course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to medical emergencies involving adults and children. Students learn CPR, AED use, choking relief, and essential first aid skills through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios.

Basic first aid and injury care

HSI certification upon completion

Wilderness First Aid

This course focuses on managing injuries and medical emergencies in remote or outdoor environments where professional help may be delayed. Ideal for hikers, scouts, outdoor programs, and adventure-based groups.

Includes:

Patient assessment in remote settings

Bleeding, fractures, and environmental injuries

Illness management and evacuation decisions

Hands-on scenarios and practical problem-solving

16 hour course length (2-day)

AVIRT/AVERT (Active Violence Response)

This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize, respond to, and survive active violence situations in schools, workplaces, and community settings. Through scenario-based instruction, students learn practical strategies for staying safe during emergencies.

Decision-making under stress

Run, Hide, Fight response techniques

Coordinating with first responders

HSI AVIRT/AVERT course completion certificate
